I've got a feeling...
Still sick..but slept till five today so I'm not tired at all at the moment. Dave is sleeping next to me, or i think he is anyways. Might be a bit annoying with me tapping in the background but hey, if you steal the computer from me then that's what you get! haha only joking, sorry babe.
So my birthday last night was simply amazing. We started off at Vertigo 42 with Ben and Lucy (Daves friends). Now vertigo 42 is a champagne bar up high in the sky, very similar to the bar up in Skrapan in stockholm, only the view is of london and not södermalm. It was great and of course we forgot the camera. So we shared a bottle of champagne and some strawberries while enjoying the view and then had to leave pretty quickly actually. We met Ben and Lucy at five and were going to meet my friends at my local pub at seven. Being pretty happy and dizzy as we were (from the height of course, not the two quick glasses of champagne before dinner!) we decided to take a taxi wich made us about half an hour early. Now Jojo was already there cause she had an interview at five in kentish town (good luck with that hun) so I bought us a round of drinks and chatted away till the rest of the crew arrived, Bonnie, Ed and Chris. Now in the middle of all our chit chat, the local celeb decides to turn up as well, Pete doherty (The singer of The Libertines and Babyshambles, also had a thing with Kate Moss for a while)! After much arguing with my friends, dave goes out for a smoke and a minute later Pete is out the door as well, so dave asks him if he can sign my card, gets me out and i get my card signed and not only that! He starts singing for me! "Happy birthday to yoouu!" dave joins in and so does petes possy. It was awesome, kiss on the cheek and the card back. great start of the night.
So a drink later we head to the restaurant El Parador, a tapas bar right off Eversholt street, two min away from where we live. I'll tell you something, the food there just keeps getting better and better. Cooked to perfection! Considering it was around nine when the food started coming to the table we were all a bit tipsy and starving. No one was polite enough to wait for anyone to say anything. Dig in and get what you can was the rule. Luckily enough though we're all very smart people and ordered a lot more food than was needed, so there was no fighting, just talking, laughing at each other scuffing their mouths and the after dinner cigarette.
So we didn't waste a lot of time there, had two jugs of sangria and lots of food, ate it and got the bill. We decided to go back to our place for a quick tour and then go to a pub or something. The quick drink and tour lasted for four hours though. We got back, had another bottle of champagne and then got through three bottles of vodka, four appletisers, one fanta, four packets of cigarettes and a couple of rollies. Fun family games included Celeberty head with Adolf Hitler and "I have never". There was a lot of fun talking going on and in the middle of everything Jennifer decides to show up just to brighten the place up even more. We were having a great night all of us (or i would like to think so anyways) and I'm sad that it ever ended. But all parties have to end at some stage I suppose. The cleaning was great...grown up points for me who cleaned up a party mess the day after (and not the week)..With daves help of course! i would never do it on my own..
So thanks again everyone who made my fake birthday great! This is so happening again next year, but hopefully at the right date this time.. Thank you thank you thank you..
