10.30 - 3 5-CL
Had the worst morning ever.started off very good, woke up with the sun in my face, had an extra snooze, didn't stress as i got dressed and still managed to get to the bus well in time..Was contemplating wether i should take the tube and be even earlier to have a nice long sit down breakfast..Stupid me decides to go with the bus anyways..
The traffic is thick as blood and the driver is retarted..a bustrip that on a bad day takes about 50 min now took 80, so not only did i miss my sitdown breakfast, i barely had time do buy it in the first place! as i rush out of Starbucks with half a rollie in my hand i realise, I've forgotten my lighter at home! So I had to rush in a shop, half a rollie in one hand and balancing a tea and boscotti in the other, two min before i start work..Down the road smoking as if it was my last, trying hard not to spill the tea all over me (not very succesfully!!!) and finally in through the pub doors..Sandra tells me I'm five min late in an annoyed voice and that she had been trying to call me..Fuck i was five min late and she makes it out to be the end of the world!! I could open that pub, hands tied around my back in an hour and she is annoyed that she "had to" start taking down the chairs cause i was five min late..Save yourself the effort darling ..you're beyond rescue anyways..
So because my hands wasn't tied behind my back I was done soon enough and could stop to enjoy my cold tea and dried boscotti..so much for my new healthy diet..Starbucks have started serving porridge and a good one too so that is going to be my breakfast from now on..Porridge with dried fruit, a cup och green tea and maybe a small wholegrain cookie for my sweet tooth..medium size lunch to follow with some meat/chicken/fish and a small salad for dinner..shouldn't be too difficult!?!
The rest of the day floated by pretty smoothly..not that busy, we kept ourselves busy by doing small stuff in the bar..cleaning and stuff and by nightfall i was ready to go home..of course that wasn't going to happen for another four hours..But it was fun to see Simon again..we haven't worked together for over a month and closing down always runs so smoothly with him around..
Tomorrow is quiz night..Wish me luck!
